Faith That Leads

Big Idea: People are rarely argued into following Jesus. They are lovingly led.

Faith always moves toward someone. Jesus never waited for people to find Him. He went after them.

If we are following Christ, we should be leading someone.

Three Points:

I. Faith Sees People Differently

II. Jesus saw fishermen.

III. He saw future disciples.

Word Study:

Lead

Greek: ago

To guide. To bring. To influence toward a destination.

Application: Faith refuses to see people only for who they are today. Faith sees who they can become in Christ.
